Oh my! I wasn't sure what answers to expect, but "numbness" wouldn't have been one of my guesses. Taking the plunge can be motivated by a variety of things. I finally decided to pursue a license because I was not hired by the zoo for the 5th time. I have been more than qualified for the positions, I have awesome references, and I interview well. The lack of license is the only thing holding me back. Honestly, I researched quite a few accredited vet tech programs, and you could have achieved a whole new level of panic with some of the price tags out there! In any case, I believe in working through the pain and throwing yourself 100% into constructive activity. I am proud of you for enrolling and sticking to the program. Your sweet Yorkipoo would be proud too!
