- The program is NOT free. However, there is currently a 6-month free trial.
- After the trial, "...you'll be charged at a membership rate of $49 upon automatic renewal."
- Upon graduation or after your 4th year of student benefits, whichever is first, "...your subscription will automatically upgrade on its anniversary date into a full paid subscription for Amazon Prime."
- You do not get access to Instant Video titles or free Kindle books to borrow
- You do get free Two-Day Shipping
- You get e-mail alerts for discounts and promotions and exclusive discounts on a variety of products and categories.
- $10 credit for each person you refer to Amazon Student who joins
- "Current Amazon Prime members that sign-up for Amazon Student will receive a refund for the remaining months left on their [...]subscription. You'll no longer have access to[...]benefits such as Prime instant video and Kindle Owners' Lending Library"
