It's amazing just how much a male dog will mellow out after being altered. I can't wait to get my puppy altered Monday. He's been such a stinker! A lot of pet owners don't realize that simply neutering their dogs will make a huge difference in whether or not they wander. There are also a lot of irresponsible people in my neighborhood who constantly forget to shut their gates and their dogs get out and raise ****. I've noticed the altered ones don't try to start fights.We also have a neighbor whose dog is an escape artist and it's so not their fault but luckily he doesn't wreak havoc, he just likes to run.
