Hello Ladies soo excited about Penn Foster, finally I found my new career, my vocation, always worked for laws offices, now, my plan is enroll myself in Medical Billing or Medical Adm. Assistant to find a decent job in the area and then when I get my diploma enroll myself in Medical Assistant.
Any advice please??
Im from another country ( living in Florida, legal resident, so Im staring a new live here ) , its been difficult to find something decent without a valid certification.
I have a couple questions:
1;- Do I have to learn how to apply injections? if yes where or who will teach me ??
2.- what about first AID???
3.- how long it takes to complete the program taking classes everyday?
Finally, Im asking because after we finish the program we have to go for an extra test, I mean like exam to see if we have the requirements for a MEDICAL ASSISTANT certification or something like that , I'm confuse.
Help please, thank you !!!!

Question 1: If I want to be a medical assistant, do I need a medical assisting certification?
Medical assistants are not required to be certified, but it will help with your job search.
