Re: 12 Signs You Were Meant to Work with Animals! :-)

I do think jumping spiders are a little cute (related to #2). And I love animal field trips, zoo trips, petting zoo trips, dog fair trips, etc. (#10). And I've tried to imagine doing something else but don't come up with anything (#12).

We rescued a couple of injured birds and took in non-injured cats and dogs while I was growing up, releasing or finding homes for most of them (#11). We had puppies and kittens so I never needed to wish for them (#9), although I unwisely wished for a bunny also for a while.:) (It wouldn't have worked out.) My first job was at a vet clinic while still in high school (related to #7). I definitely do a little in-home petsitting instead of babysitting (which my sis did - she's now an elementary teacher) (related to #3). I still have one entire shelf of my bookshelf that is nothing but animal books (somewhat related to #6). I majored in biology (somewhat related to #4). In college I would stay after class to discuss the zoology lab projects with the teacher, semesters before I took the class (related to #5, except an aquarium and baby ducks instead of tadpoles). We did the tadpole thing at home growing up - put them in a container and monitored them every day. Fun stuff!
