The light novels are still on-going I think and it seems to have quite a large fan base so hopefully they have plans to make a season 2. I'm guessing the anime only covered 2 volumes out of 11 so there is still plenty of story they can still work with.
I was planning on using that same gif sometime lol my favorite characters are the great demon general Alsiel and Lucifer (for no particular reason)
