I spoke with an instructor today about considering another course for continual learning in paralegal. They asked my age and suggested I consider The advanced certification legal course (for wills, estates, etc), I guess they figured the associate degree for paralegal would involve too much concentration and research for me. Anyway, I did compared the two courses along with the Paralegal diploma which I just finished and found that I could transfer credits from the Paralegal diploma to the associates degree because they both have some of the same courses. If you do consider one or the other, it will or should take less time to finish. I also looked into legal Secretary, because since I'm inexperienced in all of this, the legal Secretary may be my best bet in getting my feet wet on the job.
